Every piece of wood we offer is sourced locally in and around Winnipeg through our tree division, Charleswood Tree Service. By working directly with trees that are responsibly removed within our community, we ensure that each slab is ethically sourced while giving these trees a second life instead of going to waste.
Our Environmentally Responsible Approach
All of the wood in our selection comes from trees that must be removed for safety reasons or due to natural decline. Rather than harvesting from old-growth forests or protected trees, we responsibly recover and prepare wood that would otherwise go to waste, giving it a new purpose and extending the life of these valuable natural resources.

Prepared to Meet Any Project Needs
Our live edge slabs are only made available once the moisture content has been reduced to below 13%. This careful drying process helps ensure stability and minimizes the risk of bowing or twisting, allowing the wood to perform reliably in a wide range of applications.

We have not only the saw equipment to resize your favourite board to your needed dimensions, but our 20" industrial planer allows us to both adjust the thickness and allow your board's grain to shine through,
